“NONA’S RED RACER was created with the use of a computer software called Fractal Design Painter.  I create fine art and illustrations using brush strokes that look just like oil, pastel and watercolor.  This technology allows me to create and present illustrations that best express the vision I have for each page.  Getting started, however, was another story!  I had never used a computer before at all, and was completely computer illiterate!  Our son, Bruce Robert, served as my technical advisor during my illustration process.  He taught me everything I needed to know to illustrate NONA’S RED RACER!”
