		Mark Teague is a popular author and illustrator of children's books. Teague was featured in Publishers Weekly as one of eleven prominent new authors and artists of 1989. Mark never had any formal training as a writer or illustrator. He describes his creative process:
	Mark Teague and Audrey Wood have collaborated on two books published by Blue Sky/Scholastic: THE FLYING DRAGON ROOM and their spring 1998 release, SWEET DREAM PIE. Mark has six hardcover books published by Scholastic. He currently lives in Coxackie, New York, with his wife, Laura and his daughter, Lily. "Notebooks full of sketches and scribbles, strange little drawings and phrases that now seem mostly cryptic. I go along like that for a while, and then it suddenly comes together.
